About Us
Henderson Family Dentistry is conveniently located near the Avenues and Triangle City in West Columbia. Our practice was founded by Dr. Thomas Edmonds in the 1970's, and has been in the same location since. Dr. Edmonds retired in 2019. While he will be greatly missed, we are excited to continue his legacy of providing excellent, patient focused dental care, in a comfortable environment.
Our office is centered around our patients, and we like to think of our patients as part of our family. We take time with each patient and get to know their unique needs and wants. We care not only about your dental health, but also your overall health and well being.
Continuing education is of utmost importance for Dr. Henderson and his staff. We devote many days a year to learning and staying on the cutting edge of what dentistry has to offer.
We treat children and adults of all ages. Either in our office or through our team of referring experts, we can treat or coordinate care of patients with complex medical issues, developmental disorders, or physical disabilities.

Meet The Team
Dr. Daniel Henderson
Dr. Henderson is a Columbia native. He graduated from Spring Valley High School, Wofford College, and received his dental education at The Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a residency in Hospital Dentistry in Birmingham, Al learning to treat patients with complex dental, medical, and behavioral needs.
He is a member of several dental professional organizations, the United Way Health Council, and is a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Henderson and his wife Stephanie have a daughter and a four-legged "child". They enjoy spending time with family, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors.
